Over 6 months – all the way from September last year to March 2023 – Jesus Club @ Bukit Arang completed our 2 Ways To Live series.
Through 9 sessions of talks, crafts and activities, we learned God’s message from the Bible about who he is, his world, and the life and work of Jesus Christ. How does this lead us to the most important choice we will ever make? Read on!

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
God lovingly made everything in the world, including you and me. This means that God is our King, and we must listen to him and follow what he says.

“There is no one doing what is right, not even one.”
Romans 3:10
Sadly, the Bible tells us that no one is good. We have all rejected God to be the kings of our own lives. This is called sin. The punishment for sin is death – to be cut off from God, the source of life and all good things… forever.

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son…”
John 3:16a
Amazingly, although we rejected God, he loves us so much that he sent his son Jesus to save us! Jesus never sinned, but he died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins.

“Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Because of his great mercy he gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from the dead.”
1 Peter 1:3
But Jesus’ story didn’t end in death – God raised him to life as king of the world. For those who trust in King Jesus, God also gives them the certain hope of new life with him, from today and forevermore.

“Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who does not believe in the Son will not have life. God’s anger remains on them.“
John 3:36
Finally, we were challenged to think about how we make many choices every day. However, our choice to accept or reject King Jesus is the only one that has forever consequences.
If we believe in Jesus, we will have eternal life and be with our loving Creator God forever. But if we choose to reject Jesus, we will be cut off from God and face death and God’s anger forever.
Please pray that as a Jesus Club family, we will trust and follow King Jesus together.
